We are pleased to announce that registration for the new North Sea Link (NSL) Financial Transmission Rights (FTR) product is now officially open on JAO from Monday 6th July 2026.

Customers wishing to participate in NSL FTR auctions must ensure they are appropriately registered with JAO before the relevant auction deadlines. We anticipate go-live by the end of Q3 2026 and are pleased to be progressing towards auctions from September onwards, subject to NRA approval.

Existing JAO Customers
If your company is already registered with JAO, you do not need to complete a full new registration. Please use this link to access the required form 'Amendment No.28 to the Participation Agreement'  then this must be submitted via the JAO Support Hub by signing in and raising a ticket.

New Customers
If your company is not currently registered with JAO, you will need to complete the JAO Market Participant registration process before you can participate in NSL FTR auctions. JAO recommends submitting registration documentation at least nine working days before the auction in which you intend to participate.
